Find the missing boundary.

Check the specific failed stage before repeating an action. Most indicators describe evidence, not the whole system.

What you see	What to check next
Preview opens disconnected	Expected before an owner profile is provided. Run that exact installation’s `doctor`; verify you are using the preview or central profile you intended.
Workspace asks for sign-in again	Sign in normally. Logout, expiry or service restart can invalidate the browser session. Device enrollment and provider sign-in are separate.
Device online, no visible agent progress	Read the session’s supported runtime evidence and saved next action. A fresh receipt only proves reporting.
A session is missing	Check allowed roots, provider version, source filters and partial coverage. Do not widen roots or import history automatically.
Project or worktree looks wrong	Review repository evidence and correct the owner project label. Do not assume native and Desktop project IDs are interchangeable.
Collector says owned elsewhere	Use the existing watcher’s window or terminal. Stop it through its own controls before starting another.
History says partial or pending	Inspect that session’s coverage and capture limits. Do not move/delete its spool or checkpoint during pending capture; ask the owner for exact recovery.
Answer is saved but session did not continue	Check submitted/native-ack/completed receipts and bridge identity. An observer-only session has no general answer channel.
Save failed or timed out	Refresh and reconcile current state. Review a revision conflict before resaving; check for an existing create before retrying.
CEO note exists, no fix followed	Read the assigned next actor. A read/report grant permits a recommendation; it does not provide code execution or delegation.
Native chat exists but Desktop cannot open it	Separate native creation, correct destination/project placement and Desktop visibility/Open evidence. Escalate the exact stage.
SSH/profile connection fails	Use normal native SSH sign-in and verified host trust. The original preview refuses direct fallback when configured for its managed SSH route.

Safe diagnostics

Use the exact executable and profile for the installation you are diagnosing. app status reports the managed preview app; it is not a universal central collector status command. Central watch status comes from its owning UI/helper and the accepted server receipt.

Report a useful issue

Include the action, expected result, local time and timezone, build/version, whether the problem is repeatable, and the last successful stage. Add sanitized diagnostics and the affected task. Keep account tokens, provider sign-in files, raw transcripts and private config contents out of screenshots and public issues.

Current gaps

Full Claude history coverage and compatible capture activation remain unfinished.
General task dispatch, autonomous delegation, persistent CEO scheduling and destination-client Desktop routing are not accepted shipped workflows.
Native activity and waiting are unknown for many observer-only sessions.
Automatic handoff rotation, comprehensive vault/restore and broad multi-owner enrollment are incomplete.
